Aphasia SA has several useful resources that are available for short term loan to members of Aphasia SA.
Current resources available include:
- Model of a brain with representation of arterial network of vessels. Separates into 9 parts: frontal lobes, parietal lobes, temporal lobes, occipital lobes, medulla, cerebellum and basilar artery. See details of the model here.
- Talking About Friends Quotes Photo Book containing quotes from people with aphasia, carers and friends. The aim of the book is to develop support and promote positive interaction amongst people with aphasia and their families, friends and carers through sharing their experiences.
- Talking About Friends Book developed by Occupational Therapy students in 2017. Contains information about aphasia, friendships, how to talk to a person with aphasia, activity ideas and information about Aphasia SA.
